This was my first post:

And this was a follow-up a few days ago:

In between these trips and since the last one, I've clocked in a lot of fishing hours with this new rig. I was a bit skeptical about the rod length, as the first (lead) eye on the rod is rather small. But with the Fireline and 1/16 oz. jigs, this rod casts effortlessly. And the sensitivity is amazing to me. Even better than my two 7' SHSS rods. If this keeps up, I'll be buying another nine footer to match this one! Going longer is a bit scary to me as we don't just drift, but we do a lot of casting as well. I suppose I could be encouraged to go to 10'!
