This was our only chance this week to get there. So off we went. Got there around 6:30. Got our miners. Headed to South Fork. Fished bridge piers and trees with minners and nibbles. Also had a jig and plastic tied on. Husband caught 1 crappie. Me I think I had 1 bite. The fish were there just not biting. Tried trolling cranks and nothing. Didn't see anyone else catch anything. Not many people out. It was very windy. Had white caps going. Also lake was murky to muddy. Everything a crappie doesn't like. Couldn't even get a bass, white, drum or cat to bite.

Still better than working. They should turn on soon. Gotta eat sometime.

well you get an "A" for effort! next time you'll make up for it and catch twice as many!

It sure beats all the drydock time I am having. Gotta go one of these days.
