Good read. This is actually the article that hit on the search engine and brought me over here a short time ago.

ifish:Great post on the use of crankbaits. I recently began using them (Bandit 300 primarily) and your experienced information was very helpful.

Good information in a well written article. You can tell he's paid his dues.

    Very nice.

A medium/heavy bass rod works well for the heavier weights talked about toward the end of the article. I tried them for the first time over the weekend and was pleasantly surprised. Enough backbone that the rod doesn't dip too much but I could still see the bite even when it was a yellow bass not much longer than the crankbait.

I came across this article by Jeff White while doing some research on a project and could not find the post on CDC. Jeff is one of the nicest and laid back guys you will ever meet. I thought I would post it in case no one else has read it. Great article and a very good read. Thanks Jeff for your time to share your sport with all of us.!!
