    Default B&M graphite jig poles

I don't have the model number but it is the b&m 12ft standard graphite jig poles that have been around for years. Are these poles too light for "pushing jigs" with a 2 ounce sinker?

I think this is it. BGJP102

Yes, you will snap the tips eventually with a two ounce weight. Their PST would serve you better.

Agreed but you will be better served with Southern Crappie Rods I think, PST tips and me don't seem to get along.

Thanks for the info. Which SC rod would you recommend for pushing jigs? Will the same pole push cranks?

I have Southern Crappie Rods and really enjoy them. Never tried a 2 oz weight pushing a 300 Bandit.
