Eagle fishmark 320 portable. Very good unit for the money. 2 of my friends that dont own boats have them. They use them on rental boats.

Check out Fishing Buddy. Self contained fish finder unit. Good for canoes and rental boats.
Currently a non-fishing slacker! (not for too much longer)

Do you know who makes the Fishing Buddy fishfinder?

    Thumbs up Fishin Buddy

I like the fishin buddy fishfinders, I've owned two of them and packed them into the high lakes and used them on my float tube. But you can get a Bottom Line just like them for 1/3the price, and modify it to make it portable, just use a small 12V battery like the ones they use for the Aqua-Vu underwater cameras. Here's my setup for the porta bote... I'm gonna figure out a way to make it work on my float tube too.
