Can someone explain to me what pushing cranks is. I assume pulling is like what I do when long lining jigs. Not sure how you could push something.
I can't figure out why throwing a couple of crank baits out and dragging them behind the boat is so hard. Tom with all the gadgets you got driving the boat it should be easy. If I can do it anyone can.

Pulling is pulling the cranks without a weight and controlling depth by length of line out . Pushing is using weights usually around 3 oz. three feet a head of your crank bait and your depth is controlled by the weight.....with the line layed back at a 45 degree angle your depth will be approx. 2/3 of the amount of line out to the weight.
I have spent most my life fishing........the rest I wasted.
