    Default 14ft rods

What's the best all around cheaper 14ft rod. Used for spider rigging mainly but decent enough for pulling cranks

I know you said cheaper, but the BNM PST's are great for that combination. You will save money by buying them now, rather than trying something else and eventually getting the PST's.

There are no cheap 14 ft poles; however, I have the best price for PST 14 poles.

that's a fact too, go ahead and get some extra tips tho. I like the Ozarks and Southern Crappie rods better.

I don't but Cray does, I do use a couple of the 14 foot Ozarks and love em, with 125 foot of line out you cant bring a 2 pounder to the top in a hurry. Cray says the Southern Crappie rods have as good a backbone as the Ozark but a little better tip, cheaper too if not mistaken. Both are good, the PST is actually lighter than the other 2.

Southern crappie rods are tough. Work great for spider rigging and can pull cranks if you want. Not going to break the tips on them either. I have them, PST's and 12 ft pinnacal's. They all have their place but the SouthernCrappie are now my go to pole and cheaper than all the other quality poles.

Was pleased to read the post on the 14ft's as I am planning to pickup a couple this year.
