    Default Spider rigging rod action?

For those of you who spider rig, which action would you suggest? Medium/light or medium/heavy while using 1/2 oz to 3/4 oz capps and Colman rig. I will be using a 12 footers.

I bought a couple of 12' Southern Crappie rods from him in person a while back, and I really like them. They are sensitive, but still have plenty of backbone. I got 12' for long lining, but I agree 14' would be ideal for pushing out the front. I'm planning to get a couple 14's too when I get the money. I can use them both pulling and pushing.
