Default Nice flea market find today

Picked up a Garcia Mitchell 309 with an old Zebco 5'9" 2 piece fiberglass rod. Guy told me $2!! The wife says I got it. Got it home stripped all the old line off and took it apart and cleaned it all up.

Cool!! Been using mitchells for 45 yrs. Still use 308's for drop shotting bass at Toledo Bend. Caught a 15.5 lb redfish on a 300 when I was 15. Was getting worried. Could see the spool, figured 240 yds of 250 was out before he turned.

Got a buddy at work and that's all he'll use - it has a bit of road rash on it but the insides were really clean. If I keep it I'll have to get used to reeling with my right hand on this one.

Great find.I have a 309 I use sometimes, just a different feel fighting a fish than what I'm used to.Sometimes I switch handles around on my other reels too.
