    Default Sunny HOT Sunday/Pics

This morning early was very nice. Sixty when we hit the water at 6:20. We left at 10:30 and it was 84. Wind was calm and the crappie were slower than they had been. The bright cloudless sky did not help. The slabs still bit. We put 121 in the boat. Size again was a little down. Most 12-14.

wish my slow days were like that.
Crappie bite twice a day. 15 minutes before I get there and 10 minutes after I leave.

Another mess of beautiful Maine fish. Bee are you the only one fishing up there? That's a lot of nice fish to catch in a day.

I pretty much have it all to myself. I fish 6-8 different places. Many more are available but my SS check only allows so many places.

Pretty fish for sure! Lived in Canada for 2 1/2 years in the mid 80's. Nice this time of year. Glad I'm back in the South.

I would feel sorry for you but. it's 93 here with 85% humidity. I haven't been lately. 121 between 12 and 14 is more than I've caught in 3 years trying. That's my reasons. On the bright side I saw several of the contestants for some little pageant at lunch. They will be on shortly. I think it's called the Miss USA contest. I thought my wife would box my ears when I talked to a couple of the women who are hosting tonight. Man that was some pretty girls today!! Anyway, go back to catching, lucky y'all.
