As some of you are aware of me buying a new Tohatsu 9.8hp. Lots of learning needed. My question is, can I use a standard 6 gallon tank with this motor. I believe the tank that came with is special????comments welcome please

You might want to try the one that came with it, they get such great fuel mileage. If you don't want to try that, the dealer
should trade with you for a few bucks. The dealer mine came from offered to trade tanks or props if not skinned up.

I have a Nissan, same motor. You can use any tank you want, just switch fittings.
