. We had 19 keepers in 3 hours today and we were spider rigging with a double-jig. The Grande is good but we went to this place this old man told us about and smoked em.
Sounds FISHY to me????
This old man got a name???
congrats on the catchen!!!
We have been having a lot of luck spider rigging this week in the channels about 15-25 ft. deep. I don't want to say exactly how we are rigging these things but it is working really good... We had 19 keepers in 3 hours today and we were spider rigging with a double-jig. The Grande is good but we went to this place this old man told us about and smoked em. Seems like Truman if you can find a place where there is no one around and catch good fish stay on it. But eventually someone catches on and then everyone seems to come around just keep moving and fishing where there aren't any boats running up and down the lake (18-25ft) and wait cause there not hitting real hard but the bigger ones will barely tap a jig and you gotta be ready but they are hitting it...

A FISH IN THE PAN IS WORTH TWO IN THE LAKE
Those of around in 1975 had a first hand view of what wast there when it flooded. Catch crappie right beside an old deer stand from when I was in college.
God bless Charlie Brewer and Bobby Garland.
Is Darrel Dixon from Sedalia???? He sounds like a guy that I used to visit with down below the dam at Warsaw while fishing for hybrids!

I don't know exactly where he is from but when I see him again I'll ask him.. Sure knows where to find the crappie away from the boats though...
