nice cat. How did you guys do in the tournament? How was the algae?
Fished St Mary's Saturday. Bill screwed around with this 26" Channel on his 12 foot noodle rod for about 15 minutes. Naturally, I ignored it and kept fishing....except for the wild laughter the whole neighborhood probably heard. Finally got it in the boat, but he didn't want to put his hand in its mouth (bent his crappie net too)......
It's starting to wiggle.....
Yep, he dropped it.....
Finally got a hold of it for a decent pic!

I didn't fish it, just pre-fished with Bill. He did it with his brother-in-law, placed 2nd in a 7 boat field. I think he weighed just over 8 pounds with a 10 fish limit, so averaged just over 3/4 pound per fish. It's getting really blue/green in many places with very poor visability.
I think Jason has a tournament there this weekend. Hopefully the water isn't to bad then. Those are some decent weights. Thanks for the update.
Looks like a fine catch to me.
FISH ON
LOL "yep, he dropped it..."
Better known as butterfingers bill..... Actually, Bill is strong as an ox. Don't know how that thing escaped the strangle hold he had on it.
Way to go Bill. Good to see you drop the cats like the crappies ;-)
