Cabelasa nice store over by Kansas speed way just off of I-70.
BPS is building a new store as well not sure when it will be done.
I'm going to K.C. in december for a weekend with my wife, and other than looking at shoes and clothes for my wife I would like to find a store I can check out some fishing stuff. Any help would greatly appreciated. (BELIEVE ME).
Crappie don't sleep, is that why I'm so tired?

Best outdoors store in the greater KC area, is Rogers Sporting goods in Liberty.
Missouri-Fishing.com! Total Fishing Resource for Missouri Anglers!
BPS opens on february 23 i believe. in overland park. DM
If ya just want a good ole outdoor huntin and fishin store i would go to Rogers in Liberty. The fishing selection is better than Cabellas and the prices are also:D
the new bps at i-470&i-70 has not started foundation yet,was by there today and saw no progress from 2 week's ago lots of dirt moved but no concret started

Fuzzy i think they are going to finish the one in Olathe Kansas then start back on the one at 470 and I-70.I also heard it was being delayed over design changes.
Hog,nice to see Rogers get a mention.Don't get there much, but the staff has always been very helpful when I have gone.
Rogers, in Liberty is good and has helpful staff but Cabella's is outdoor heaven. Separate store within a store for fly fishermen, huge clothing section, knives, guns (not a hunter so can't judge selection), fair selection of camping equipment (not as high end as Backwoods or specialty outfitters), 3story mountain with North American game trophies in life like settings... Good place to wander around wide-eyed. Keep a tight grip on your credit card.
