Do yourself a huge favor---once you fish with those HiTeks, look around in your boat at locations for extra bases so you can try trolling longline, cranks, or with a partner by just moving your holders. The extra bases will let you do a multitude of different styles of fishing for very little more money. I have 6 pairs in my boat and use every one of them during a fishing season.

Looks good and do the extra bases.
Wow thats an excellent idea . I sometimes troll and catch a bunch of white bass and a few walleye , every now and then will catch a crappie while trolling larger cranks. Ive read where people like bandits 200 and 300 series for crappie trolling.the lake I fish is not the clearist. Sandy slash silty bottom. Lucky if you can see your stainless prop in the middel of summer. Iam a littel nervous about putting these holders in the back of boat because of snags. I guess I dont know if it would pull the rods out of the holders ill need to go home and look at them some more. The bait in this lake is mostly gizzard shad. Should I troll jigs or cranks ive never trolled jigs before. Also what colors do you guys think might work well in stained water. Thank for all the advice.
Set the drag where line will play out and no lost rods.
GO BIG ORANGE !
I meant to behave, but there were just way too many other options available at the time.
Very nice
I agree 100% with Mrdux about the extra bases. I can go from pushing to pulling in less than five minutes.
I have 9 bases in my rig. Nufsaid.
