My flag hangs 24/7 - never comes down. I tend to it regular. One on my truck, another on the boat, etc. Memorial Day to me are those that gave all. Because, to me, that's what it's all about - a memorial.

Hinton (Andy) Winfield Andres, USN WWII
Capt. Robert Winfield Andres, USAF Viet Nam

    My grandfather and my father.

Wished I could have fished with these fine fellas.

Veterans Day is different - thank you all that have served.

The Wall is a memorial. There are some names engraved with whom I served.

There's two homes on the block where I live mine and the vet across street that fly the flag 24/7 & lighted at nite. This is done for remembrance of all those that served as I and my neighbor did with pride. When time for a new flag the old one that so proudly served goes to the American legion for proper disposal.
I don't suffer from insanity; I enjoy every minute of it.....
