Default Few Gills from Jerry Combs Lake

Fished for a few hours on Friday by my trusty ole log. These were all caught using Gulp rubber crickets and the gulp maggots. Still wondering where all of the males are hanging out at, as I only caught 2 of them but they were alot smaller. This lake is full of these giant female gills. I think I am gonna go back out tomorrow but I will practice some catch and release that way these ole girls can get some quality eggs in the water.

Love catching those things. If everything fought like them it would be real interesting.

Nice gills ! I have never tried the gulp crickets . I always used the real thing . Might need to try them . Sure would save having to go to the baitshop for crickets before every trip .
