Actually I was in Northeast Alabama. It was snowing lightly there, but on my way home from Monteagle Mtn, to Winchester it snowed pretty good.

Monteagle, man I haven't heard of that since I used to haul up 24 to Nashvegas after eating a heaping load of turkey in ATL. 5 yrs of making that trek over Monteagle in every type of weather and man is it pretty. Thanks for the memory jarring and the report. Glad to hear you caught some good ones.

The ride through Monteagle is definately a beautiful ride. From the waterfalls during the rainy season, to the fall colors, to the ice hangs. People stop all over that passage to take pictures. Sorry to hear your not getting to see it anymore and also getting to eat the turkey.
