Is it not b/m that makes the one that the line goes through the rod ? Had a needle to reline if you broke off . Was not to popular with the guys i fished with . I think they still make it . Will check .
Does anyone know how to make an eyeless crappie rod/pole?

Would think you need at least one eye at the end to run your line through or do just like a cane pole and tie the line to the end.
Its called the BNM CADILLAC COMBO.
It has both good and bad points.
Its cheap u get a ready rigged rod and real at a good price'
Its tough the tip end wont break like some more sensitive rods.
When fishing under low limbs the string doesn't catch.
Its simple and fits in a small space.
Now the negative.
Not very sensitive.
Heavy.
If the string breaks u may have to go home to fix it.
Wont fit in all holders.
Sometimes u have to pull the string from the end.
Okay it works and catches fish.
For the price its hard to beat for spider rigging if you have a holder that will work.
If u use a braid for the main line with a split ring then a leader you wont break the string.
I have one in the boat as a backup. nuff said!

Hmm never heard of them. Doesn't sound like something I would spend my money on.
FISH ON
its a good idea but hard/pain in the rear to change line. Had one used to catch bait with called Sabiki Rod when I lived on the Gulf it made me say bad words
Eagle 1 LIKED above post
run some 65 pound spiderwire out through the rod and tie some lighter mono so when it breaks it breaks outside of the rod. no need to rethread it.
Crappie bite twice a day. 15 minutes before I get there and 10 minutes after I leave.
The two loudest sounds are a gun that goes bang when it is supposed to go click and one that goes click when it is supposed to go bang.
If you rob Peter to pay Paul, you can generally count on Paul's vote.
B&M makes one called a Whitey Outlaw jig pole. It's designed for jigging in buckbrush and under low hanging cypress limbs. It's a real jigging pole, not one of those glass poles with reel on the end. Can get them from Grizzly, really nice pole.
