Saturday morning, temps in high 70's,
water temp in at 80, partly cloudy skies,
barametric pressure continue to be on high
side 30:15 and upward mode peaking at
30:19 by 11am. Wind continued to be factor
as it has been for past 3 days, SSE-SSW
by 11am out of South varying from 9 -17mph.
Eighteen (18) teams went after Monroe's
finest Spec's with most teams spider rigging/minnow tipped working drift patterns - Mother's arm & old river entrance being go to points.

1st: Conor team fish with Deep-South
rods 16 & 14', using Mossican (brown)
Skipper's ice & zip jigs with hot pink &
chartause secondary colors, spider rigging,minnow tipped. Working the humps
in 4-5' water near Mother's arm area.
2nd:Cole team, Wally Marshall rods 18-16
&14', Skipper's moon ice jigs, along with
zips using colors, green - orange, zips
hot pink - Orange working 4' & less water
in smokehouse cove. Minnow tipped
3rd:Peyton team, Wally Marshall 14' rods
Ron's & Skipper's jig jigs, primary colors
Chartause / Hot Pink & Green, black collar,minnow tipped, working 3-4 contour line parallel to Mother' arm.
4th Eberyl Team, Wally Marshall 18 & 16' rods, minnow tipped using various hot
pink, orange & purple custom ice jigs

grass. Dept of 3 - 12' with holes and
