jon boat sealer

anybody got any ideas on sealing the bottom of a 14.5 foot jonboat. I have replaced 80% of the rvits on it. its an old boat but is now in pretty good shape. I dont want to rino line the boat because of the cost I could get a new one. I plan on keeping the boat for another year. I may even keep it when I get another boat.

You could spray the bottom with rubberized undercoating. Comes in a can made by 3M. I get it from Napa.:D

try some fiberglass resin,i just used the resin without the fiberglass and painted the whole botton of the boat no leaks

:D thanks guys I knew that yall could help me come up with something. I will spray the inside and add sand for traction and use the resin on the bottom. already got a gallon of resin just sitting out there waiting for a project:D

There is a product called Gluv-it that is made specifically for your application.

You could also try that rubberized watersealer like they use on trailers. Might be just about the same as the stuff C-rex mentioned.
