i caught 12 females a week ago last thursday below CC and 9 of the 12 had dropped their eggs but i think sons creek is going strong right now from what i hear. i havent been up there this week i'm going from what i've heard from the locals.
For what it's worth, almost all of the 12"+ females that I'm catching in the Cedar Ridge-State Park area have already dropped their eggs. Yes, they still have some eggs in them, but from what I have read, these remains are absorbed by mama. These old gals have had a rough spring, and are so thin they look like razorback hogs.
