    Default rod recomendations?

Im in the market for a few new poles, for dipping and casting, and spider rigging.

    1. I normally use a BNM sam heaton 9-10' for casting really small floats and dipping jigs.
Anyone have recomendations on other rods on the market if they are better?

    2. I want to try and start spider rigging so what poles would your recomend?

    thanks all!

I've fished b'n'm, Ozark , outlaw and pro angler . I think the pro anglers have the most back bone. The 10' outlaws seem to be the lightest. I love my sam heaton ss for winter fishing. I have a 11' rear reel seat Ozark that I just started fish with and it seems to be a good rod . If I had to pick one rod it'd be my outlaws.

    I like St Croix.
Do not buy "Outlaw" rods, they do not stand behind them. They are junk!

Take a look at Wally Marshalls new signature rods from Lew's. Check out the Troll-tech line. They start at 10' for $60 and go up to an 18' for $90. Look at the finish and action, you'll be glad you did!

Dipping, vertical jigging.....BnM Sams 11' Casting....St. Croix Avid, Light action 7', if you like spending money. The Sams 7' UL can whip a jig and/or float n fly a pretty good distance. Spider rigging.....BnM PST's 14'.
