Couldn't resist myself. I traded in my Ride 135 and went with the Caddy....Pro Angler 14! Only added a Lowrance Elite 4 HDI so far.

Just took a microlite rod with a beetle spin to get a feel for the layout and where I plan to add some accessories.

Added the anchor trolley and picked up an 8' stakeout pole.

Borrowed my rod holders from the bass boat to give this a try:

I'm also adding my scotty rod holders to each rail. Not sure my plan for storage/catches - I'm fine with tackle between using the center hatch and under the seat. I may go with a cooler in the back or use the front hatch for the keepers. A work in progress...more to come!

Side note question, anyone know some decent settings for the Lowrance Elite 4 HDI they could share with me?

I like the looks of your rig. Where did you get your seat? How is the rod holder working for you?

The seat is standard with the new pro angler.

Tried the rod holder today and was a complete bust. The cumberlands were too heavy to mounted like that. A lot of bounce and didn't feel good on the yak. Was considering to place the base on the floor right in front of the center hatch, but not thrilled about drilling there and having a block of metal there to stub my toes on. Will likely wait till I can afford two double rod holders for each side. Until then I have two scotty rod holders on the rails.

So since that didn't work out, I switch to target the gills. They were hitting hard and I didn't have any live bait! Loading up on some red worms tonight and going after the shellcrackers and gills the next 3 days.
