I use loop knots for each jig. Leave a long tag end after tying the first jig and tie the second jig using the long tag end. I only use 2 jigs but you could tie more.
how do you tie multiple jigs when casting and retrieving in shallow water or more like trolling ??

I believe in loop-type knots for all my jig fishing. However, I don't necessarily like re-tying every time I want to switch, so, I use "Snap Hooks" from Netcraft. I tie a palomar knot to the first one and for the second one on the same line. This way they are kept separate without twisting and they have the freedom to move. I like the #2 size hooks which work well for my 1/16 - 1/8 oz. jigs. However, Netcraft is currently out of stock on this size! I've got a half dozen packs on order now; expected in on the 10th. of this month. Here's a link:

Go to YouTube and see huckabee knot. I think that how it's spelled anyhow he is writer and guide and he explains how to rig his setup with loop knots. This is how I do mine.
