Saturday morning, picture perfect
little to no wnd, water temp in high
60's, clear skies, barametric press
30:01 -slowly climbing to 30:06 by
11:30am. wind high for day was 9.2 mph,
between 10 & 11:30am. Entire day
was partly cloud to clear.

Fourteen (14) entries (biggest to date
@ Walk-In-Water) went for Ole Mr.Spec.

Two (2) positions paid for "Big Fish"

1st: Darryl & Terry Cole
1 lb. 4.3 oz

2nd: George Parker
1 lb. 3.7 oz

Three (3) positions paid for "7 fish catch weight"

1st: Darryl & Terry Cole
7 lbs. 9.5 oz

2nd: Mark Irle
7 lbs. 5.0 oz

3rd: Bernard & Sylvester Smith
7 lbs. 3.0 oz

Cole team fished with Wally Marshall
rods, spider rigging, minnow tipped
with various style of 16th oz jigs on 1/2
oz drop weights. Mostly Skippers & Ron's
zip jigs along with Just Jiggin Ice Jigs were used. Colors were gold - orange
hot pink & black/blue. Working 8- 9 ft
range mostly in central part of lake

Mark Irle, fished with Crappie Hunter &
BnM rods, spider rigging, minnow tipped
in 6-7 ft range, eastern central side of
lake with hand made and combination
of Rons Zip. Gold & gold mixed colors were best.

Smith team fished with Wally Marshall
rods, spider rigging, minnow tipped
with Ron's & Skippers Jigs. Hot Pink -
Butterscotch, Orange/white were "go to"
colors in 7 -8 ft contour more to central
part of lake.

Lake Monroe is next on schedule, May 10th, Park Ramp, north side of I-4 bridge.
(Fishing will be restricted to Lake Only)
