Abumatic Question

Hi!

I'm considering trying one of the Abu Garcia spincast reels, mainly because I like the simplicity of the spincast reels, and I need things as simple as possible.:p In particular, the Abumatic 576.

While looking at the Abu Garcia site to view the reel specs, I noticed they list a 576 and a 576C, both with the same specs.

Can anyone tell me the difference between a 576 and 576C?

I see they are making a 1276 also for superlines and that is also listed as a 1276 and 1276C.

hey joe. i would consider another brand of reel. the Abu-Matics of yesteryear were good reels. the ones of today are of poor quality and poor design. I have three of them and each one has a different flaw. they are made in china by whomever and they are not of Swedish quality that we have been used to. I am very disappointed in mine, to say the least. look at Diawa or Shimano.
