    I am getting a new fishfinder for a 17' Lowe aluminum. I have about $300.00.
    Does anyone have any reccomedations?

    I really like my matrix 17 with gps, and right in your price range

    I have a Matrix 12 that I am very happy with. You can get one On-line for under $150 without the GPS, which you can add for about $100 I think. I like having a separate handheld GPS so I can take it off the boat and use it elsewhere like on the bank to mark cover when the water is down, in someone else's boat, hiking or traveling.

    I like Lowrance stuff. But I got most all brands. Lowrance, Eagle, Humminbird. All good stuff. I got so much electronics stuff on my boat I can't fish. Too busy a lookin'................
