    Cool G3 1966

Anyone know anything about the g3 1966. Thinking about buying one for the family to fish out of this year. Theres a small lake near my residence. Sometimes the crappie fishing is really good . Like right now. Took the girls out over the weekend and got a dozen or so for dinner. Just casting jig bodies under bobber. The girls loved it. But I wana learn more about crappie just bought 4 14 foot rods and am planing on trying some spider rigging this summer. Proubly gona do quiet a bit of praticing . Does the g3 1966 look like it would be an ok boat for learning this type of fishing..thanks for all replies.

If your looking to buy new, I would look at the bay Dlx. It will be a better ride, but the 1966 will do just fine on calm days.

Wonder what the price difference that and the 1966 would be both with 115 hp.

Depends on dealer! I priced all them in January, but think I may have threw out all my info. I went with a used glass boat. The 20 ft bay was under 25 with the 115 four stroke.

I picked it up and got the motor mostly broken in. I mounted some rod holders a couple days ago. And today I mounted two more seat pedestals up front .. the girls are ready to go. We just need a few days nice weather. If I knew how to post a pic I sure would.
