4/18-4/20 Upper Osage Arm of LoZ

Three of us fished below the buoys on 4/18 from noon to dark and ended up with 45 crappie and 21 white bass. On 4/19, four of us fished from 8-4pm and ended with 24 crappie, 12 whites and 6 blue cats. We also caught about a dozen big gar. They were a blast on the light tackle. We were fishing minnows and minnow tipped jigs in 20-30' of water on the bottom in the main channel.

On Saturday, we fished the Snagmasters paddlefish tournament. We didn't catch anything big enough to place but did catch seven paddlefish. The last place fish weighed 58 pounds and the first place was 75 pounds.
