    Default Mercury Motor Cowling...


    Has anyone experienced their Mercury cowling to fade in the sunlight? I’m renting a place right now and the boat won’t be garaged until this fall. I should buy the custom mercury cover, but I’m more afraid of scratches than anything. Seems like the saltwater guys I know have never had one color fade on them. Looking for any sort of comments…should I buy a motor cover or say the heck with it…thx

    Personally I would buy the cover for storage and take it off when I pull the boat. Just my
