Default Bream fishing at Santee Cooper

I've been wanting to go down to Santee to do some shellcracker fishing the spring. I only have a 15 ft jon boat and would like some advice on some areas to go that would be safe in my boat. I would also like to do some catfishing at night. Anyone have any advice?

You should talk to Jim Hatch. That's his name and his handle over at FAOL:

I couldn't find his email, but if you post this question on the warmwater board, he'll answer you.

He lives on Santee Cooper, and you won't find a bigger shellcracker fan.

Thanks for the info. I'll try that.
