It's a great idea and I'm glad he's having success with them. And I'm even more glad he's sent us some for our members.

It has 15 lb test line, so it might not be the best for jigging, but that's not what it was designed for. It might be interesting to use when pulling crank baits for Crappie in the Summer. You will be alerted when you get a bite. And although most of us prolly target Crappie, we do other types of fishing too. It has a sensitivity setting, so it would be good when trolling. Or if you bank fish, it'll let you know right when that fish hits your line, just in case you're busy doing something else. It has some real world fishing applications for sure.

So this is a photo contest, please post a picture here of your Mom. It can be you and your mom, or your mom with anything fishing related at all. This contest will end on Mothers day. And I'll include a Pink Crappie.com Visor for your mom.

This is a simple "best photo" contest that will be judged by my family members. The one they like the best will be the winner. In fact, lets do this, there will be two winners. The TWO pics they like the best will each win a "Smart Rod" and a Crappie.com visor.

There is one other requirement. If you are a winner, you will need to post a picture of you with the rod so that Ed Hope can use it on their website.
