    Default Waaay up Smithville

Put in at the 240th St. bridge in Plattsburg Saturday and went north. Not a lot of crappie, but the ones I got were nice, around 12''. The white bass were on fire, one almost got my pole, even got one big ole green! A lot of fun on light tackle!! Forget to take pictures at the time so this all I got

Put n at the next ramp up, not the 240th ramp or you can go to the c highway ramp and come down .
May all your live wells be full.

I got a little 12' alum boat with just a trolling motor on it for the river, but there was some guys up there with bigger boats. It's a pretty steep little gravel ramp, but they got in and out ok (4x4 a must). Water does get thin in some spots and the bottom always changes. My best luck up in the river seems to be early spring and late fall. That one white that almost got my rod was about 16'' and fat, he hit like a freight train!!
