The Speed of a Rhino The Power of a Gazelle
30 MPH winds kept me inside the marina cove.
Not one crappie found shallow yet but saw some LMB caught in 6fow.
Yesterday a few being caught off the docks.
I stuck it out during the storm in my slip listening to the deafening sound of hail hitting my aluminum roofed pontoon boat.
My thoughts about the spawn at Clinton is delayed despite surface temps near the banks in coves are at 60 degrees, is the crappie are still deep, not realizing the shallow water is ready for them. It must be taking the deep water longer to start to warm up this year after record lows this past winter.
will not warm up much this week
I was at bloomington Sunday and got 54F with my new mercury type thermometer.
wish my flasher told me temp. i just go by april 15 as the first day they start spawning.
