According to Burton's water temp is 52. Last sat I was there it was around 49 to 50 already. It won't be long before it kicks into gear.

57 degrees up in the upper spots. Did not fish for crappies today. But did catch some bass brought the winds

To windy after the morning turkey hunt but died down enough for me to buy my season pass today.

Lots out trying from what I seen around noon.

couldn't stay in one spot well enough to fish for crappie so I ended up bass fishing all day. Did pretty good, nothing over 1.5-2lb but still a fun day. My neck is sore from all that bobbing up and down in those 1ft rollers all day!! but MAN it was nice out

Warm rains last night brought temps up to 61 degrees by 9am today. Bass hitting not even trying the crappies. I did not see anyone else fishing for them today again.
