They have been catching crappie and several walleye down there the last couple weeks from the bank and rigging in the dead water channel.
Just wondering if there was any reports of crappie being caught below Truman Dam on LOZ. I heard there was no or very little water being released. Didn't know if that has changed with the recent rains. Thanks for any reports

Fishing not as good as last year this time. Not much happening in the back end of the old channel. I have graphed a lot of fish out at the confluence of the old and new channels but haven't caught a lo of fish since early march. We were going to try Wednesday but right now it looks like 20 mph wind. I will check the hourly wind forecast on Tuesday. If we can fish in the morning I will post a report.
God bless Charlie Brewer and Bobby Garland.
I was wondering also!?!?
I fished it Saturday and had to work hard for 6 keepers. Out by island
and north bank 1/3 way back of dead channel. Take minnows and tip
bright colored jigs. Target only suspended fish 4-8 foot deep or you will
waste your time. Good luck.
