Default Still working on the boat. Driftmaster 5100 install and mods

Finally got around to the permanent install of the Driftmaster 5100 trolling rack. The quality of this rack and ease of installation are second to none, however, I did decide to make a couple mods to the unit to make it a multi-use piece of fishing gear. The 5100 now doubles as the rear support of a 2 layer rod transport rack. I have also fabricated some mounts that go into the accessory rail of the boat. Hope this helps someone who doesn't like to drill holes in their rig unless absolutely necessary. Here is the link to the complete boat build from start until now.

and the pics of the 5100 install.

The front holder is the original one that I built that can be locked.
