Took a tour to find place to fish

Wanted to fish backwater on the Missouri. Went to New Haven. BIG tree over ramp. Went to Gasconade City. Knew river would be mud but ramp had mud on it. No problem putting boat in. Problem getting to boat after parking. Told husband I wasn't walking in that crap and maybe falling and breaking something. Went to Bonnets Mill on Osage. River was mud. Went to highway 50 ramp. River still mud. Next stop St. Thomas. River NOT mud. It was dingy. Could see about 1 ft deep. I caught 1 small channel cat and husband caught 1 small channel cat and 1 nice drum. At leSt we didn't get skunked.

I will say that you were determined to find a good ramp somewhere. Glad you caught a few. Thanks for your report.
