    Default Deep Fryer Opinions

I would like to get a deep fryer for here at the house, mainly will be used to deep fry Crappie & Bluegill fillets, does not need to be huge as I will basically always just be cooking for 2-4 people.

Was curious what y'all have used and what y'all liked.

    Thanks in advance guys!

Those look amazing, but was more interested in something I could just set on a table outside or in the garage and was electric.

    Thanks for the suggestion though!

i have one I gaot from bed bath and beyond that i love and would be perfect for what you want. I've tried all kinds of smaller fryers before and this one is by far the best i've ever had. called a waring pro professional fryer, has digital readout and holds temperature really well. cost $99.99

like mine so much that when I had to cook fish at work for a bunch of people i bought another one and used two instead of buying something larger. I cook for 2 to 4 people in it all the time and have had it for 4 years and still works great.

I bought a Fry Daddy elite here while back and is prefect for just the wife and I. Keeps temp really well. Was surprised after some of the reviews I read on some of the smaller ones. I have used it out side on the porch this winter on some pretty cold days with no problems.

That is very intriguing, have you had any leaking issues with yours? Was checking it out online and it got a lot of bad reviews for "leaking".

I use a fry grandaddy. It works for me and I usually just let it cool off, leave the oil in it and put in the cabinet for next time. I will get three or four cookings from one gallon of oil.

not if you dont overfill it, but if you do it will runover the top of the tank.
