Yes. Not an issue when cook. I still cut them out though.
Have any of yall ever seen worms in your crappie filets? I was rinsing the filets that I caught today and thought it was just blood but it didn't rinse away like blood,so I rubbed it with my thumb and a worm about one inch long and 1/16 inch in diameter came out of the filet. I've never seen this before. It freaked my wife out,I guarentee I won't have to worry about her eating any of this batch of fish.

All fish occasionally have them, most never notice them. I personally, remove them with fin meat, rib cage and anything else I see strange when I clean up fillets.
yea man, just cutem out.aint no big deal, unless the ladies see them.
Just tell her it all meat...
That's horrible! I see that you are in the south? Maybe the warm water?
Like everyone already said: just make sure you cook them well.
No way i'm feeding my family that fish. You guys do what you want but not me. I catch enuff without worms that i dont have to eat those. Crappiehoarder, throw it in the trash.
I ate some bluegill that has had them and if you ever seen how fat I am then you will know I don't have worms.
