Default Dangers of a 13 year old boy having an I phone and internet access ?

My son has had an I phone with internet for about a year now. He just turned 13. Yes, I know, I know. But I wanted a Garmin tracking device to put in his gear for all the boy scout camping he does. I want to know where he is. I also want him to always have a way to contact me should anything come up, from normal kids stuff to anything you could imagine while camping with "trusted adults". Anywho, a tracker was about $180 plus service. And with changing school ways, he can use the internet at school for stuff.

Anyway, we have filters in place and I check his search history etc.

But, in my most recent search of his phone, guess what I found!!!!!

    Go ahead guess. I'll wait.

My little, precious baby boy has been buying bluegrass music from Itunes. Can you beleive that? This is he current favorite.

Great kid right there. If more of today's Youth had his taste in music instead of that "Rap-Crap", the future of our country would be much brighter. Cudo's to your son, and to Dad for bringing him up the right way ... Well Done!!!

Dayton be proud of him, that there is some good music. Plus a boy scout!! Due to my work schedule I had to drop out as scoutmaster. I have had a very hard time with not being in scouts. It hurts to see it going too the dogs. I know that its just a few rotten apples that spoil the barrel. Scouting is still the greatest of all programs. I was a scout, my step-son is a eagle scout. I mastered five boys to eagle.
