    Question Night fishing lights

Was wondering if these might be effective for night fishing.
    Any opinions?

UV light strip is non-waterproof but that's all I see wrong with it. You'll have a floating rave club if you put the whole roll in! Underwater light looks interesting depending on how long the cord is and what kind of connection it has. I assume you would be using it as a submersible? Guess you could always throw a couple alligator clips on it for 12v use. Don't really know much about the safety of such a job either. I don't think an underwater light specifically designed for fishing is really that expensive is it? Something like this: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Berkely-Subm...item19ea803f76, could be found at wally world. It would be cheaper with a lot less uncertainty in my opinion.

The UV lights will make your clear/blu & hi-vis yellow & green mono "glow" ... but won't "light up" the water surface or below it. Any "white" lights, in the vicinity of the UV lights, will wash out the effect of the UV light on your line.

With free shipping from China and Hong Kong, it'd be 2015 before you could put your hands on them.

It takes a while for shipping that's true. By from Amazon and it will get there sooner.
The UV lights would work great for the Thill fluorescent bobbers to see on the water with the black light. The light will not more than likely light below the water more than 1 ft. It will charge your glow in the dark lures fast too but not good for attracting fish. I have the white LED strip lights on my jon boat and run them at night and they draw in the bait fish well. I also use a green fluorescent underwater light that helps too.
