Caught some nice fish over the last couple of weeks not a lot but good fish average over a lb. Took my boy a few times and had a great time. March was kinda slow still cold for our area should be a lil warmer by now. Other than few minor things I think we've got the bugs worked our for when they're really biting mid April!! I'll be home April 17 gonna do 3 weeks of turkey hunting and crappie fishing!! Plus lil camping too!! I changed line a few times and found out I like the 10lb power pro braid side pulling. I can set drag and if I hang I'll wrap it around pole and straighten hook or break line usually straighten hook plus very small diameter I like it!! Broke trolling motor and batteries not charged good from to much fishing on a 10amp two bank charger on 3 batteries! Of course there biting good when battery went dead lol. Throttle on boat messed up also one day! Then wiring harness to radio (previous owner) melted all my wiring to all electronics !! Full day of wiring good to go now!! Broke my new seat also one day!! I got my rope tuned in for unloading boat by myself. Its been a learning experience for sure!! Been on the river all my life pleasure boating and working on tow boat just never fished much. I have to say its funnest thing I've done in a long time! Really hope we wear them out in April I'm looking for some good days ahead!!Name: uploadfromtaptalk1395992795545.jpg

Yeah its great time home!! Cant wait to get off this towboat and go again!! I'll post some pics of my boat one day I'm using a spider rig mount to side pull with. Big nice seat kick back and drag along. One on the front for my boy and blueberry (the dog) rides in the middle. Absolutely enjoy every minute of fishing with them!! Need bigger boat now where moma and lulu can go!
