Started out like gangbusters with an incoming tide, but at turnaround the temps dropped and some sleet fell. Turnaround lasted way to long, to cold and by time we where on full outgoing the bite just kinda stopped. We had two really good hookups during turnaround but one broke the 40lb leader and the other broke the hook in half. Thinking back those where the big fish we where looking for. The barometer change really shut the bite down around 5pm. Still we had many laughs while staying sorta warm and dry.
Now what is this I hear about snow?

Our day was pretty much the same - the outgoing stunk and the wind & cold took us back to the dock.
We too had one of our leaders broken - 50 Lb fluorcarbon.
Amazing how finicky they can be for scavenging bottom feeders.
There were a couple boats fishing for white perch exclusively - they were setting the world on fire either.
