Default Divided Up My Worm Bin

I have a ten gallon plastic bin in my shop that I have been raising red wigglers in for the last two years. It has supplied me with all the red wigglers I need and then some. However I am not seeing little ones like I used to so I figured a bunch of the castings needed to be removed and new media put back. I managed to take about half the casting out. I took a good many of the worms and put them in a new three gallon bin that I am going to make a mini bed out of. I figure I can take that back and forth to the camp easily.

I replaced the old castings with aged horse manure and stirred it up good and added a little rain water. I saved the old castings to be used as fertilizer with some of my plants.

I am interested in seeing know that if my actions will result in increased worm production. If the mini bed trick works then I will make several and rotate taking them to the camp with me when I go.
