Default Caught a Bream Today Trolling For Crappie, Should Have Taken a Pic

Never had this happen before, but long lining today I felt a all to familiar bite from a bream and when I got him in there was not a hook in him at all! I was using a Roadrunner with a willow blade and he ate the blade so it was stuck sideways in his mouth and it was stuck to the point I had to force it out. Didn't hurt him, but it was a really tight fit, LOL!

I catch them quite often trolling for Crappie. Usually when it warms up a little more. Only caught one so far this year.

I also catch them a good bit trolling for crappie, but usually the hook is in their mouths and not just the blade, LOL!

We used to use gator fleas a lot fishing the Oclocknee River. Sometimes we would pull in bream that the gator flea was latched on too! I have twice seen red bellies caught without hooks in there mouths, just the gator flea latched on to him.

You mean that thing is real. Who would have thought that it would catch anything without them biting the hook. Go figure.
