Trolling for Crappie has filled my freezer

A Terrova variable speed and tight lock rod holders and we are busting the crappie this year, but a question too u front men running the boat. Back man seems to catch most of the fish on a limit of 60 maybe 40 or more. both running 6lb same jig size and color.On calm day its equal but with wind and there is always wind back man is a lot more steady.Thinking about down sizing line up front to 4lb front catches most of the wind. long cast do help me contribute any front men out there experiencing this.

Normally about the same. Need to ask if he's doing something just a little different. Jig color, distance back etc..

Use your remote to run the Terrova from the back seat and put your buddy in front. I love seeing the guests I have in my boat catch the bulk of the fish.

rear is farther from trolling motor would be my guess

We have same issue most days and just go with it. Remember if u change you're line size you're jigs will run different depth

I run into the same thing pullin cranks. I run 4 rods off the back and 2 off each side up toward the middle of the boat. The back 4 always do better.

Might be because the fish see the boat coming and spread out to the sides, then relax and fill back in behind the boat in time for the back guys lines to run through them.

Maybe try some side planer boards up front.

longer pole's , run the bait farther away from the front maybe. depend's on how deep were talking and take into consideration t. motor noise too!!
