Thumbs up Wally Marshall Signature Series Spinning Reel

A couple of weeks ago I received one of Mr. Crappie's spinning reels via UPS. It's the series 100. I lined it up with some Berkley Trilene XL 4 pound test mono and mounted it on an Eagle Claw 6 piece Trailmaster spinning rod that I just happened to win in a facebook contest. ( I really like fiberglass rods) I took it fishing yesterday and I have to say its the smoothest casting and retrieving reel I've been fortunate enough to own. It balanced that rod perfectly and I found myself casting a small crank bait 120 feet easily. There was absolutely no wobble in the retrieve, as the bail system is balance perfectly. I've never been one to spend a lot on any one piece of fishing gear, and at $30 this reel can stand shoulder to shoulder with a lot of the premium priced reels on the market today. Thank you Mr. Crappie.
Where you go is less important than how you take the steps.
