    Default Smithville 3/14

Finally got out to get the lines wet after a LONG winter. My expectations were not too high but just being out made me excited! I took my son out (spring break) and we were super surprised at how it went! 14-18' of water and three hours later we were done! 9.5-11" fish. Slabusters off almost any color. At first they wanted them dead still but at the end they wanted it moving, Wanted to go back today but too many soccer games for my boy so we will have to freeze and do it tomorrow. My son was supposed to take a pic but he didn't.

Nice job! Thanks for the report too! Worked and cleaned the boat half the yesterday and worked in the yard the rest with thoughts of going today. It ain't going to happen. These 100 mph winds are a bit much for me and in particular the Missus.
The fishing was so good I thought it was yesterday
